A GMF is a family medicine clinic that provides more hours, staff and services to its patients.
What does this mean for you?
GMF New hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM to 8 PM
Friday 7:30 AM to 5 PM
Saturday and Sunday 10 AM to 2:30 PM (applies to statutory holidays as well)
Our “walk in clinic” is transitioning to an appointment based urgent care clinic.
GMF patients* will have priority booking for these appointments 48 hours in advance.
Rest assured, our walk in clinic by appointment is open to the general public, with same day appointments.
This service is available 7 days a week and on holidays.
By using our free online appointment service, TapMedical, we are able to better manage our waiting room, and reduce wait times.
In keeping with our philosophy of accessibility and convenience we are equipped at Santé Mont-Royal to provide patients with a one-stop shop for their medical needs. Our doctors can see all patients; infants, children, adults and members of our senior community and they can address various needs including electrocardiograms (ECG) and lacerations.
Included in our list of physicians are doctors working in the Emergency Department at the Jewish General Hospital. The walk-in clinic at Santé Mont-Royal is there to address urgent care matters.
How to Register to the walk in clinic by appointment:
• Live in person – we will be happy to accommodate you, space permitting, on the same day.
• Online using the TapMedical App or website for FREE
• Phone registration - limited to GMF patients* only, 48 hours in advance
*Being a GMF patient means you are a registered patient with a family doctor at Sante Mont-Royal.
