Germany, Heer. A Gebirgsjäger M43 Field Cap for Enlisted Ranks, Late-War Issue United Republic of The tunic measures 470 mm(Heer Einheitsdeltmtze M43 fr Mannschaften der Gebirgstruppe). A well preserved Heer Gebirgsjger M43 field cap for Enlisted ranks, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, scalloped toward the front, which provide optional ear and neck protection to the wearer. When not in use, the panels roll up and are secured in place with two black bakelite buttons which emanate from the right panel and meet an equal
