Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of a pair of crossed anchors situated within a pair of wings, in turn topped by a mobile swastika, the reverse with two sets of butterfly clips, unmarked, measuring 115 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), demonstrating significant loss of gilt finish to the base metal, a scarce insignia in better than very fine condition.
