Epigraphie —substances that it associatesOriginally from Lugano, Anna Vivante spent her youth in Milan and then in Rome, where she earned her degree in Ancient Near Eastern Art and Archaeology. She then led excavations in Turkey and Syria for around ten years. In 1981, Anna began photographing the Near East. Her first black and white photographs were published in Nuovi argomenti 44 in 1992.
