An 1898-99 State of Colorado Spanish-American War Medal to Harry Briggs Auction 5 cm wide leather bandIn bronze, reverse engraved HARRY BRIGGS, measures 38. 4 mm (w) x 44. 8 mm (h), with original ribbon and clasp, light wear, suspension has been re affixed, in near very fine condition. Footnote: Harry Briggs, of Pueblo, Colorado was a private in Company C of the Second Infantry Regiment. Following the calling up of volunteers, the company was selected as one for active service, and on May 1, 1898 was mustered into United States service as Company C of
