The area is owned by Bethlehem Steel and is known for its shipbuilding and steel making. Shown is a piece of a Socony gasoline tanker whose bottom plates were eroded. These sections were welded and riveted together to add more life to the $550,000 ships. CONDITION This 74+ year old Item is rated Near Mint Very Fine+. Light aging in margins.
